Running a nursing
home has become an ever more complicated and regulated
business. There has recently been an escalation
of costs with a growing demand for the fewer available
nurses. Our fees have had to reflect this and to
cover all the costs of a hotel with all food and
laundry included, as well as the additional cost
of 24 hour nursing cover. Following admission, all
privately funded residents will be assessed by NHS
nurses to
determine the level of government support. There
are three bands at present

ROOM CHARGES :
NEW ROSSETTI WING £675 per week
RUSKIN WING £625 per week
ORIGINAL HOUSE (with sea views) £625 per week
ORIGINAL HOUSE (without sea views ) £600 per
week
DOUBLE ROOM £995 per week
Most of our rooms are single
with en-suite facilities. We do have a few large
rooms available for married couples or for those
residents who prefer more space. There is a new
dining room and some more private areas with glorious
sea views for sitting or taking meals. Many residents
prefer to have tray service in their rooms and this
option is also available at all times. Start your
day with bacon and eggs for breakfast should you
so wish, the choice is yours! There is always a
choice for lunch with a great variety of homemade
puddings as well. We believe in good food made with
fresh ingredients, and source local produce wherever
possible. Duck, crab, salmon and scampi all make
an appearance on the menu, as well as old favourites
like treacle tart and Queen of Puddings.
